Description

Helpline House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a network of critical social services through a number of different programs – including children services, senior services, financial assistance and a food bank. 

Helpline House's social services team consists of case managers, a community care coordinator and mental health counselors.

Micro

Helpline House's Social Services Team works 1:1 with clients directly in appointments as well as have direct contact through the food bank. Case managers assist clients facing financial hardships, are unhoused, refer and connect with other agencies with or on behalf of clients, assist clients in accessing DSHS services such as SNAP, TANF, etc., and SSI. Licensed social workers and mental health counselors provide short term, solution focused mental health therapy to clients addressing concerns around anxiety, grief, depression, etc. The community care coordinator connects and assesses those aging or with intellectual, physical, or cognitive disabilities to connect them with resources, set goals to obtain or reach, and provide more intensive services tailored to the client's need.
