Micro

Interns will meet with patients to discuss psychical barriers to care, addressing social determinants of health via telehealth and in-person patient encounters. Interns will work with the behavioral health team, which is imbedded within our primary care clinics and may have the opportunity to co-facilitate groups with other clinicians.

Mezzo

Coordinating care between clinics within the VMFH system as well as coordinating with outside resources.

Macro

May have opportunities to shadow supervisor in all-management meetings and or work on department policy projects.

Required Experience

Completion of foundation year MSW program. Healthcare/Behavioral health experience preferred, but not required.
