Description

Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization working for social justice and offering a broad array of behavioral health programs, human services and civic engagement activities for Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders and other communities in King County and beyond. ACRS serves a wide range of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities – immigrants, refugees and American born – in the Pacific Northwest. Learn more at www.acrs.org.

Micro

Intern assists in the planning, development, and implementation of the program. Consults, coordinates, and collaborates with other professional agencies on client service provision. Provides referral services to children, youth, and families unable to access services at the agency. Coordinates with school staff, community members, and other youth service system providers.

Mezzo

Intern assists in the planning, development, and implementation of the program. Consults, coordinates, and collaborates with other professional agencies on client service provision. Provides referral services to children, youth, and families unable to access services at the agency. Coordinates with school staff, community members, and other youth service system providers.

Required Experience

Ability to work across differences.
Interest in working with immigrant youth.
Experience working with young people is preferred.
Comfort with MS Office Suite (especially .ppt) is required.

Required/Preferred Languages

Ability to speak and understand Mandarin and/or Tagalog is helpful but NOT required.
