Description
Akin (formerly Children’s Home Society of Washington) is the largest and oldest family services organization in Washington state. Children's Home Society recently merged with Childhaven and both organizations are doing work under the name Akin. Akin provides holistic services and support for children/families in communities around the state to help them reach their full potential. We reach our families before they are in crisis, to identify their unique needs and set them up with resources and prevention services to manage life’s challenges at a time when additional support is needed most.
