Description

In the Children, Youth, and Families Program, second year clinical MSW interns will learn to provide outpatient mental health services to children, youth, and families in a variety of therapeutic modalities with attention to cultural relevance and competency. There will be opportunities to consult, coordinate, and collaborate with licensed mental health professionals and other professional agencies to best support your client’s needs. This may include providing outreach services to those who are unable to access services at the agency and coordinating care with school staff, community members, and other youth service system providers. Clinical MSW interns will also be expected to complete concise and timely records according to agency policies to meet contract and agency requirements.

* Previous experience and interest in working with youth strongly preferred.
* Ability and willingness to work with a wide range of community members.

Required/Preferred Languages

Ability to speak an ANHPI language is helpful but not required.
