Description

At Pacific Sky Recovery Center we offer client-focused IOP and PHP mental health and co-occurring group based programs that utilize evidenced-based interventions grounded in ACT, DBT, and Compassion-Focused Therapy. Other clinical groups include process group, trauma recovery group, and relationship dynamics. We focus our psychoeducation groups on the mind body connection, offering mindfulness-based activities, while simultaneously addressing skill development with groups like safety, care planning, relapse prevention, skills practice group, and nurse education groups.

Micro

Provide milieu regulation and behavioral support in intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
Provide individual and family therapeutic interactions
Gain experience facilitating both in-person and virtual groups
Enhance your learning through weekly case consultation/supervision and 1:1 supervision
Complete initial assessments and initial treatment plan during intake process, under supervisor oversight.
Provide case management duties for clients, ensuring individualized quality care.

Mezzo

Participate in client treatment planning and continuum of care for clients with mental health co-occurring and/or diagnosed substance use disorders.
Conduct or co-facilitates groups
Ensure all documentation regarding client care, treatment and incidents is completed
Join treatment team and supervision activities

Macro

Assists with educational workshops both within the facility and in the community
Apply theory and social models to share in case conceptualization to collaborate with staff and client to better understand client life experiences and recovery support needs

Required Experience

Enrollment in MSW program.
