Therapeutic Health Services (THS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1973. THS operates 9 service locations in King and Snohomish counties offering a full range of treatment services for individuals and families living with substance use and mental health challenges. Our experienced, caring and compassionate staff includes Substance Use Disorder Professionals, Mental Health Clinicians, Case Managers, Nurses, ARNPs, physicians and psychiatrists. We provide evidence-based treatment and interventions which are tailored to the individual strengths and goals of the person served. We specialize in supporting the recovery of high-risk, low-income, multi-system involved adults and youth who benefit from intensive and creative treatment supports. We specialize in providing culturally relevant programs and services for BIPOC and LGBTQIA youth and adults.
Micro
The aim of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Internship at THS is to produce professional social workers equipped with a broad foundation for generalist practice at the micro, mezzo and macro levels to serve adults who present with dual diagnosis in mental health and addiction and an array of case management needs. Upon completion of this program, interns will be skilled in needs assessment, comprehensive use of motivational interviewing and consultation with a diverse array of community resources. Interns are trained in providing services and coordinating resources for individuals and families involved in multiple systems including schools, behavioral health, social services, and criminal justice. Interns will complete the program with a firm professional identify as a social worker and a functioning member of diverse clinical teams.
