North Helpline is a non-profit organization that manages two food banks in the Lake City and Bitter Lake neighborhoods of Seattle. We believe that all deserve adequate food, housing, and respect.
We assist our neighbors in obtaining basic needs that affirm their human dignity and worth.
We provide access to fresh nutritious food as well as shelf stable items opening food distribution three times a week at the Lake City location, and one times a week at our Bitter Lake location. We also have Community Connectors who run our Homelessness Prevention Program that works with neighbors to prevent eviction and utility shut-off.
